[00:00:11] Overthinking is like a rocking chair. [00:00:17] It gives you something to do, but never gets you anywhere. [00:00:23] I love that phrase. [00:00:26] It's okay. It'll make sense as we go deep into tonight's episode. [00:00:33] What's up, guys? Welcome. Or welcome back to the Lo Fi Lounge, your go to place for chilling, finding your peace, and embracing the art of unwinding. I'm your host, and tonight I have a special episode dedicated to helping you relax and unwind. Especially if you find yourself dealing with the endless loop of overthinking. [00:01:07] Overthinking can be overwhelming, living those feeling trapped in our own thoughts, but fear not. In this episode, I prepare a few things that will help you find serenity amidst the chaos. [00:01:25] So let's dive in. [00:01:30] Before we begin, let me share a personal experience. [00:01:35] I, too, struggle with overthinking, and I know how it can cloud our minds and drain our energy. [00:01:45] That's why it's crucial to prioritize relaxation and inner peace. [00:01:52] See, lately, I've been feeling like that. [00:01:57] So caught up in my own thoughts, feeling like everything is wrong, and just wondering why I'm sharing you this with you. Because I know I'm not the only one out there dealing with these kind of situations. And that's the reason why I wanted to talk about this in this episode. [00:02:21] Now, I know by now we all should know what overthinking is. But just to clarify, it is a constant replaying of thoughts, analyzing every detail and worrying about what could go wrong. [00:02:40] Our modern world bombard us with so much information, making it harder to find clarity. [00:02:49] Don't worry. I'm here to help you break free from this cycle the same way I've done it. [00:02:58] You see, one powerful tool we have at our disposal is music. Especially lo fi. Music with the smooth beats and mellow vibes, it can create the perfect ambience for relaxation. [00:03:15] Right now, I want you to stop doing whatever it is you're doing and just pay attention to the background music as it plays softly for you. [00:03:43] Feel that calming effect. [00:03:47] Music has a unique ability to transport us to a peaceful state of mind. [00:03:54] And I don't know about you guys, but whenever I'm stressed or feeling overwhelmed, my go to place is always going to be music that's always going to be the way I relax and unwind. I love lo fi because of how relaxing the beats are. [00:04:15] But hey, you can feel free to use whatever kind of music makes you happy and gets you to that state of relaxation that your mind often seek to break the endless loop of overthinking I know it's easier being said than done, but hey, from a friend to a friend, sometimes you just have to let go. [00:04:44] Look, I know that we all go through bad moments in our lives that are just impossible to avoid overthinking about them. [00:04:56] Breakups are hard. [00:04:59] Losing a job can be devastating. [00:05:02] Not having enough money is always such big problem. But you know what? At the end of the day, you have to see that for what they are moments. [00:05:17] You know what that means? [00:05:19] It means it won't last forever. It means there will come a time you'll overcome that moment that brings pain to your well being and it'll shine again. [00:05:33] Trust me, I experienced that before. [00:05:37] I want to share you some of the things that I personally think it can help you whenever you feel overwhelmed and thoughts are just taking over yourself. [00:05:50] Some of the things I personally do are like mentioned before. Listening to music. That's pretty much my number one go to option with no doubts to free my mind from the craziness. [00:06:06] And no, I do not mean sad music because that tends to make things worse. But instead relaxing music, like lo fi music, meditation music and everything that's not negative or sad. Which brings me to my next tip. [00:06:25] Guys, meditation is another powerful tool we all have and it is so simple to do that there's no excuse to not do it. [00:06:37] Allow yourself just a few minutes of your time each day and sit in silence, allowing your thoughts to come and go without judgment. That's one of the powers of meditation. [00:06:54] You may also consider exercising. [00:06:57] That's one I personally love. [00:07:01] There's nothing better than hitting the gym after a long day and stressful moments. Plus, it helps you stay in shape, so why not, right? [00:07:13] Anyways, guys, the main takeaway from this episode is that you should always find a way of controlling your thoughts and not let them to control you. [00:07:28] Overthinking is painful. I know it. You can go days, weeks, and even months like that. And if you don't escape from that endless cycle, you'll forever be trapped in it. [00:07:45] Remember that whatever it is that's going through your head, it's going to be okay. It won't last forever. [00:07:55] Things tend to go better after the storm ends. That's just how it works. [00:08:05] Thanks a lot for being here with me tonight and allow me to share these words with you. I really hope you find something good in it. And I just want to remind you to always prioritize your mental well being. [00:08:23] Put into practice. What we just discussed tonight and you watch as the burden of overthinking gradually goes away. [00:08:35] Now, guys, two things before we go. Number one, remember that if you are enjoying the show, please make sure to bless me with a like and follow the show. It really helps me out. And you stay tuned whenever I drop an episode. That is a win win situation, guys. [00:08:59] And number two, it's a small announcement, really. I just wanted to say that the reason why I have not been able to be so active lately posting episodes is because I'm actually working on upgrading my recording studio. [00:09:18] And this is because I want to be able to keep bringing amazing content for you guys. And yeah, updates had to be made. Pretty much my computer. It's right now being rebuilt completely, and that's the reason why I have not been able to post any episodes whatsoever. [00:09:40] However, I'll still try to make sure that I give you something every day until I get all of these done, which should be done pretty soon. [00:09:52] But yeah, I just wanted to mention that to you guys and I hope you all can understand. [00:09:57] But anyways, that's all I got for you tonight. I'll catch you on the next episode here at the lounge. But until then, remember to stay chill and keep vibing. This is the lo Fi lounge.
